Hadith 8:2114
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from 'Abis ibn Rabi'ah, who said: I saw 'Umar ibn al-Khattab touch the Stone and kiss it. He said: "Were it not that I saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, kiss you, I would not have kissed you."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن عابس بن ربيعة قال رأيت عمر بن الخطاب استلم الحجر وقبله وقال لولا أني رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقبلك ما قبلتك
