Hadith 8:2129
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Umar narrated to us, he said: A man asked Salim and al-Qasim about a sandgrouse he had struck while he was in the state of ihram. One of them said: "He should give half a mudd in charity." And the other said: "Half a mudd is better than a sandgrouse."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو أسامة قال حدثنا عبد الله بن عمر قال سال رجل سالما والقاسم عن قطاة اصابها وهو محرم قال أحدهما يتصدق بنصف مد وقال الآخر نصف مد خير من قطاة
