Hadith 8:2141
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Abi Isma'il, he said: My mother narrated to me, from her grandmother, that she heard Umm Salamah, the Mother of the Believers, saying: "Whoever has a sacrifice to be offered on his behalf, and the crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah has appeared, then let him not take anything from his hair until he offers the sacrifice." I mentioned that to Ibrahim, and he said: "I have not heard of this."
