Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi’b narrated to us, from Uthman ibn Ubayd Allah ibn Abi Rafi’, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hurmuz al-A’raj, that Umar ibn al-Khattab took from the head of a man from Quraysh who was called Muhammad ibn Abi Rabi’ah, who had hair, at al-Shajarah before he entered into the state of ihram.
