Hadith 8:2173
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, and Layth, from Ata: He said: There is no harm in the sacrificial animal (hady), if it becomes incapacitated, to sell it and use its price to assist in [purchasing] another sacrificial animal.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم وليث عن عطاء قال لا بأس بالهدي إذا عطب أن يبيعه ويستعين بثمنه في هدي آخر
