Hadith 8:2234
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Yunus bin Abi Ishaq, he said: He heard an old man narrating to Abu Ishaq, from Muhammad bin Ka’b al-Qurazi, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I wish to renew in the hearts of the believers: whichever child is taken for Hajj by his family then dies, it suffices for him. But if he reaches maturity, then Hajj is upon him. And whichever slave is taken for Hajj by his family then dies, it suffices for him. But if he is emancipated, then Hajj is upon him."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن يونس بن أبي إسحاق قال سمع شيخا يحدث أبا إسحاق عن محمد بن كعب القرظي قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إني أريد أن اجدد في صدور المؤمنين أيما صبي حج به أهله ثم مات أجزأ عنه فإن أدرك فعليه الحج وأيما مملوك حج به أهله ثم مات أجزأ عنه وان أعتق فعليه الحج
