Hadith 8:2270
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Layth, from Ata, Tawus, and Mujahid, who said: I asked them, "Should I wash my head before I shave it if shaving is difficult for me?" They said, "Yes, and if you wish, you may wash it with marshmallow (khatmi)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن فضيل عن ليث عن عطاء وطاوس ومجاهد قال سالتهم اغسل رأسي قبل أن أحلق إن شق علي الحلق قالوا نعم وإن شئت غسلته بالخطمي
