Hadith 8:2342
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, he said: He sent to Aisha and asked her, "Is the sacrificial camel (badana) marked?" He said: She said, "Yes." He said: He said, "Is it branded (ish'ar)?" He said: She said, "If you wish. It was only branded so that it would be known that it is a sacrificial camel."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود قال أرسل إلى عائشة فسألها أيعرف بالبدنة قال فقالت نعم قال فقال أيشعر قال فقالت إن شئت إنما أشعرت ليعلم أنها بدنة
