Hadith 8:2362
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim narrated to us, from Ja’far, from his father, from Jabir, that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed *ramal* (brisk walking) for three [circuits] and walked for four. Then he came to the Station of Ibrahim and recited: "And take from the Station of Ibrahim a place of prayer." He then placed the Station between himself and the House (the Ka'bah), then he returned to the Corner (the Black Stone) and touched it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا حاتم عن جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رمل ثلاثا ومشى أربعا ثم أتى مقام إبراهيم فقرأ @QB@ واتخذوا من مقام إبراهيم مصلى @QE@ 1 فجعل المقام بينه وبين البيت ثم رجع إلى الركن فاستلمه
