Hadith 8:2365
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Humayd narrated to us, from Husayn ibn Aqil, from al-Dahhak, who said: When you come to the House (the Kaaba), touch the Stone if you are able to do so, and mention Allah, and invoke blessings upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Then pray two rak'ahs at the Maqam (Station of Ibrahim), or whatever Allah wills. Then proceed in the direction you are facing, and touch the Stone; if not, then face it and mention Allah. Then we go out to al-Safa.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا حميد عن حسين بن عقيل عن الضحاك قال إذا أتيت البيت فاستلم الحجر إن قدرت عليه وذكرت الله وصليت على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم تصلي عند المقام ركعتين أو ما شاء الله ثم تمضي تجاه وجهك فتستلم الحجر وإلا فاستقبله وذكرت الله ثم نخرج إلى الصفا
