Hadith 8:2371
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Simak, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, he said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my father is a very old man who cannot perform Hajj, so shall I perform Hajj on his behalf?" He said: "Yes, so perform Hajj on behalf of your father."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة عن بن عباس قال جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله إن أبي شيخ كبير لا يستطيع الحج أفأحج عنه قال نعم فحج عن أبيك
