Hadith 8:2375
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Ubaydullah bin Umar, from Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, from his father, who said: Umar said: "O people of Makkah, why do I see you being negligent, while the pilgrims are disheveled and dusty? When you see the crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah, then enter into the state of Ihram."
