Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 8:2391

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim narrated to us, from Ja’far, from his father, from Jabir, who attributed it (to the Prophet), he said: He came to the House and touched the Corner, then he performed *ramal* (brisk walking) for three (circuits) and walked for four. Then he came to the Station of Ibrahim and recited: "And take the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer," and he placed the Station between himself and the House.
