Hadith 8:2405
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa, he said: Ibn Abbas was asked whether circumambulation (Tawaf) is better or prayer. He said: As for the people of Makkah, then prayer is better. And as for the people of the other regions, then circumambulation is better.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو خالد عن حجاج عن أبي بكر بن أبي موسى قال سئل بن عباس عن الطواف أفضل أو الصلاة فقال أما أهل مكة فالصلاة وأما أهل الأمصار فالطواف
