Hadith 8:2418
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Labid, from al-Muttalib ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Hantab, from Khallad ibn al-Sa’ib, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Gabriel came to me and said: 'Command your companions to raise their voices with the Talbiyah, for it is the emblem of Hajj.'"
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الله بن أبي لبيد عن المطلب بن عبد الله بن حنطب عن خلاد بن السائب عن زيد بن خالد الجهني قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم جاءني جبريل فقال مر أصحابك يرفعوا بالتلبية فإنها شعار الحج
