Hadith 8:2428
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Habib, who said: 'Ata' was asked about the *mujawir* (the one residing in Mecca): If he enters into the state of *ihram* from Mecca, does he perform the three laps (of *ramal*)? He said: "They do perform them." As for Ibn 'Abbas, he said: "That is only for the people of the horizons (those coming from outside Mecca)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا الثقفي عن حبيب قال سئل عطاء عن المجاور إذا أهل من مكة هل يسعى الاشواط الثلاثة قال إنهم يسعون فأما بن عباس فإنه قال إنما ذلك على أهل الأفاق
