Hadith 8:2536
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hamid narrated to us, from Hasan, from Ali ibn Abi al-A’la, who said: Ikrimah was asked about a woman performing Hajj without a Mahram or a husband. He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade a woman from traveling for more than three [days] except with a Mahram. So how can she do it when he has forbidden her?
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حميد عن حسن عن علي بن عبد الأعلى قال سئل عكرمة عن المرأة تحج مع غير ذي محرم أو زوج فقال نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن تسافر المرأة فوق ثلاثة إلا مع ذي محرم فكيف تصنع ما نهاها
