Hadith 8:26
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umayr, from his father, from Ibn ‘Umar, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) saying: "Whoever circumambulates the House, he does not lift a foot and place another down except that a good deed is written for him, a sin is removed from him, and a degree is raised for him by it." And I heard him saying: "Whoever completes a circuit (of seven) is like the freeing of a slave."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير عن أبيه عن بن عمر قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول من طاف بالبيت لم يرفع قدما ولم يقع له أخرى إلا كتبت له حسنة وحطت عنه خطيئة ورفعت له بها درجة وسمعته يقول من أحصى أسبوعا كان كعدل رقبة
