Hadith 8:2603
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from al-Hakam, who said: If they participate [in a crime] and his companions do not pay the ransom for him, then he is responsible for the entire ransom.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا حفص عن حجاج عن الحكم قال إن اشتركوا فلم يفده أصحابه فعليه الفداء كله
