Hadith 8:2612
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibn Shubrumah, from al-Sha‘bi, who said: "Upon every person among them is a penalty (jaza’)." And Hammad said: "One penalty suffices for both of them." He said: So I informed al-Harith of what al-Sha‘bi had said. He said: "The correct statement is what Hammad said."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن عيينة عن بن شبرمة عن الشعبي قال على كل إنسان منهم جزاء وقال حماد يجزئهما جزاء واحد قال فأخبرت الحارث بالذي قال الشعبي قال القول ما قال الحماد
