Hadith 8:2704
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn al-Tayyah, from Musa ibn Salamah, from Ibn ‘Abbas: That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent eighteen sacrificial camels with a man, and he commanded him regarding them with his command. He departed, then returned and said to him: "What do you see if one of them becomes unable to walk?" He said: "Slaughter it, then dip its sandal in its blood and place it on its side, and do not eat from it, neither you nor anyone of your companions."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن بن التياح عن موسى بن سلمة عن بن عباس أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعث بثمان عشرة بدنة مع رجل فأمره فيها بأمره فانطلق ثم رجع فقال له أرأيت إن أزحف علينا منها قال انحرها ثم اغمس نعلها في دمها واجعلها على صفحتها ولا تأكل منها أنت ولا أحد من رفقتك
