Hadith 8:2711
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from al-Rabi’, from Qays ibn Sa’id, from Ibn Abbas, he said: Charity is voluntary, and prayer, fasting, and circumambulation (Tawaf) are the same; if he wishes, he may complete them, and if he wishes, he may discontinue them.
