Hadith 8:2724
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata, that he was asked about a man who performed Qiran (combining Hajj and Umrah). He said: If he wishes, he may drive [the sacrificial animal], and if he wishes, it is sufficient for him to buy something from Makkah.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن فضيل عن عبد الملك عن عطاء أنه سئل عن رجل قرن الحج والعمرة فقال إن شاء ساق وإن شاء أجزأ عنه أن يبتاع من مكة شيئا
