Hadith 8:2764
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mahbub al-Qawariri narrated to us, from Malik ibn Habib, he said: I heard Salim ibn Abdullah, and he was asked about the sacrificial animal (badana), so he said: "A sacrificial animal does not suffice except in this land," meaning Makkah.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا محبوب القواريري عن مالك بن حبيب قال سمعت سالم بن عبد الله وسئل عن البدن فقال لا تغني بدنة إلا بهذا البلد يعني مكة
