Hadith 8:2785
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Hisham, from Ata, that he used to like to finish his circumambulation (tawaf) on an odd number. And al-Hasan used to say: "Ten is more beloved to me than nine, and eight is more beloved to me than seven."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن عطاء أنه كان يحب أن ينصرف على وتر من طوافه وكان الحسن يقول عشرة أحب إلي من تسعة وثمانية أحب إلي من سبعة
