Hadith 8:297
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Yazid, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, who said: If the nail of a person in ihram breaks, he may cast it away, and there is no harm in him applying medicine (or a bandage) upon it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا جرير عن يزيد عن سعيد بن جبير قال إذا انكسر ظفر المحرم القاه ولا بأس أن يجعل عليه المردة
