Hadith 8:3036
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Malik, from ‘Ata’, from Ibn ‘Abbas, he said: The *tafath* (acts of cleansing) are: the stoning, the slaughtering, the shaving, the shortening [of hair], and the trimming of the mustache, the nails, and the beard.
