Hadith 8:3037
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Sufyan bin Husayn, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Sinan, from Ibn Abbas, that al-Aqra’ bin Habis asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, is the Hajj every year or once?" He said: "No, rather once. Whoever increases, then it is a voluntary act."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا يزيد بن هارون عن سفيان بن حسين عن الزهري عن أبي سنان عن بن عباس أن الاقرع بن حابس سأل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله الحج في كل عام أو مرة واحدة قال لا بل مرة واحدة فمن زاد فتطوع
