Hadith 8:307
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ (Hashim) narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from al-Hakam, from al-Hasan (Mujahid) ibn al-Jarrar (Dinar), from Ibn al-‘Assah, who said: Umar was asked about the ‘Umrah, and [about] those who are in Makkah: from where should they perform ‘Umrah? He said: "Go to Ali ibn Abi Talib and ask him." He said: So I went to him, and he said: "From the time you begin [the intention], meaning from the miqat of his land." He said: So he came to Umar and informed him, and he [Umar] said: "I find nothing for you except what Ali ibn Abi Talib said."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا وكيع ( ( ( هشيم ) ) ) عن شعبة عن الحكم عن الحسن ( ( ( مجاهد ) ) ) بن الجرار ( ( ( دينار ) ) ) عن بن العسه قال سئل عمر عن العمرة ومن بمكة من أين يعتمر قال ائت علي بن أبي طالب فأسأله قال فأتيته فقال من حين أبدأت يعني من ميقات أرضه قال فأتى عمر فأخبره فقال ما أجد لك إلا ما قال علي بن أبي ( ( ( آدم ) ) ) طالب
