Hadith 8:3089
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar: That he used to grant a concession regarding leather socks (khuffayn) and trousers (sarawil) for the woman in the state of ihram. He said: Safiyyah used to wear, while she was in the state of ihram, leather socks up to her knees.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو معاوية عن عبيد الله عن نافع عن بن عمر أنه كان يرخص في الخفين والسراويل للمحرمة قال كانت صفية تلبس وهي محرمة خفين إلى ركبتيها
