Hadith 8:310
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs bin Ghiyath narrated to us, from Hammam, who said: Al-Hasan was asked about a man who came to Makkah as a *Mu'tamir* (performing Umrah), then wanted to perform Hajj on behalf of his mother. He said: "He should go out to his *Miqat* (appointed place for Ihram)." And 'Ata' said: "He should enter into Ihram from Makkah."
