Hadith 8:3109
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Abu Qaza'ah al-Bahili, from Mujahid al-Makki, he said: A man asked Jabir ibn Abdullah, "Should one of us raise his hands when he sees the House (the Kaaba)?" He said, "That is the practice of the Jews. We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we did not do that."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا أبو أسامة عن شعبة عن أبي قزعة الباهلي عن مجاهد المكي قال سأل رجل جابر بن عبد الله أيرفع أحدنا يديه إذا رأى البيت فقال ذاك صنيع يهود وقد حججنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ففعلنا ذلك
