Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 8:3110

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from Abu Qaza’ah al-Bahili, from Mujahid al-Makki, who said: Jabir ibn Abdullah was asked about a man raising his hands when he sees the House (the Kaaba). He said: We performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we used to do that.
