Hadith 8:3142
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from Abu Ishaq, from Ali, regarding the one in Ihram: If he does not find two sandals, he wears two leather socks (khuffayn). And if he does not find a waist-wrapper (izar), he wears trousers (sarawil).
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن نمير عن حجاج عن أبي إسحاق عن علي في المحرم إذا لم يجد نعلين لبس خفين وإذا لم يجد إزارا لبس سراويل
