Hadith 8:3144
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated from ‘Abd al-Malik, from ‘Ata’, who said: There is no harm in the *muhrim* (pilgrim in a state of ihram) wearing trousers if he does not find an *izar* (waist wrapper). There is no harm in him wearing leather socks if he does not find sandals.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال بن نمير عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال لا بأس أن يلبس المحرم سراويل إذا لم يجد إزارا فلا بأس أن يلبس خفين إذا لم يجد نعلين
