Hadith 8:3149
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Yazid, from Mujahid, who said: Ibn al-Zubayr said: "Perform Hajj separately (Ifrad) and abandon the statement of this blind man of yours." This reached Ibn Abbas, so he said: "The one whom Allah has blinded his heart and his eyes is you. Will you not ask your mother?" So he asked her, and she said: "We arrived with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, as pilgrims, and he commanded us, so we made lawful everything that is lawful, until the incense burners were wafting between the men and the women."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن فضيل عن يزيد عن مجاهد قال قال بن الزبير افردوا الحج ودعوا قول أعماكم هذا فبلغ ذلك بن عباس فقال إن الذي أعمى الله قلبه وعينيه لأنت ألا تسأل أمك فسألها فقالت قدمنا مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حجاجا فأمرنا فأحللنا الحلال كله حتى سطعت المجامر بين الرجال والنساء
