Hadith 8:3182
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Hasan, from Layth, who said: The covering of the Ka’bah during the time of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was [made of] *al-aqta’* (pieces of cloth) and *al-musuh* (haircloths).
