Hadith 8:3187
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ash’ath, from ‘Ata, regarding the Muhrim (a person in the state of Ihram) who kills a monkey: He said: He shall be judged [to pay a penalty].
