Hadith 8:3191
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to, when he went out, go out by the road of al-Shajarah, and when he entered, he would enter by the road of al-Mu’arras. And when he entered Makkah, he would enter by the upper mountain pass (al-thaniyah al-ulya), and when he went out, he would go out by the lower mountain pass (al-thaniyah al-sufla), in veneration of the House.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال نا بن نمير عن عبيد الله عن نافع عن بن عمر أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا خرج خرج من طريق بالشجرة وإذا دخل دخل من طريق المعرس وإذا دخل مكة دخل من الثنية العليا وإذا خرج خرج من الثنية السفلى في تعظيم البيت
