Hadith 8:3218
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, regarding the slave who performs Tamattu‘: He said: His master shall slaughter a sheep on his behalf.
