Hadith 8:350
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Amr ibn Shu’ayb, from Sa’id ibn al-Musayyib, that a man came to ‘Umar while performing Tamattu’ and he had missed the fasting during the ten days. He said to him: "Slaughter a sheep." He said: "I do not have one." He said: "Then ask your people." He said: "There is no one here from my people." He said: "Give him, O Mu’ayqib, [the price of] a sheep."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن أبي زائدة عن حجاج عن عمرو بن شعيب عن سعيد بن المسيب أن رجلا أتى عمر متمتعا قد فاته الصوم في العشر فقال له إذبح شاة قال ليس عندي قال فأسأل قومك قال ليس ها هنا أحد من قومي قال أعطه يا معيقيب عن شاة
