Hadith 8:376
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Hammad ibn Abi Sulayman, from Abd al-Karim, from Yazid al-Faqir: That a group of the people of Kufa performed Tamattu (the Hajj al-Tamattu), then they went out to Medina and returned from it having performed Hajj. They asked Ibn Abbas, and he said: "They are Mutamatti'un (those who performed Tamattu)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن مبارك عن سفيان عن حماد بن أبي سليمان عن عبد الكريم عن يزيد الفقير أن قوما من أهل الكوفة تمتعوا ثم خرجوا إلى المدينة فأقبلوا منها بحج فسألوا بن عباس فقال إنهم متمتعون
