Hadith 8:388
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from al-A’mash, from ‘Umarah ibn ‘Umayr, from Abu Bakr ibn ‘Amr ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham, that Abu Ma’qal came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and asked him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, indeed Umm Ma’qal vowed to perform Hajj, but it was not made easy for her." He said: "Perform ‘Umrah in Ramadan."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن عمارة بن عمير عن أبي بكر بن عمرو بن الحارث بن هشام أن أبا معقل أتى النبي ( ( ( سأل ) ) ) صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال يا رسول الله إن أم معقل جعلت عليها أن تحج فلم تتيسر لها فقال تعتمر في رمضان
