Hadith 8:434
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Suwayd, he said: I heard Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr delivering a sermon, and he said: "O people, by Allah, the one who performs *Tamattu'* (enjoyment) with 'Umrah during Hajj is not as you say. Rather, the one who performs *Tamattu'* with 'Umrah is that a man enters into the state of Ihram, then he is prevented—either by illness or a matter that restrains him—until the days of Hajj pass. So he arrives and designates it as an 'Umrah, and he enjoys [the state of being out of Ihram] until the following year, and he offers a sacrificial animal and performs Hajj. This is the one who performs *Tamattu'* with 'Umrah."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا معتمر بن سليمان عن إسحاق بن سويد قال سمعت عبد الله بن الزبير يخطب فقال يا أيها الناس والله ما المتمتع بالعمرة إلى الحج كما تقولون ولكن إنما المتمتع بالعمرة إلى أن يهل الرجل فيحصر إما مرض أو أمر يحبسه حتى تذهب ايام الحج فيقدم فيجعلها عمرة ويتمتع بحجه إلى العام المقبل ويهدي ويحج فهذا المتمتع بالعمرة
