Hadith 8:442
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu al-‘Ala’ ibn al-Shikhkhir, who said: I went out for ‘Umrah. When I was on part of the road, I fell from my riding beast and my leg broke. So I sent someone to Ibn ‘Abbas and Ibn ‘Umar to ask them. They both said: "Indeed, ‘Umrah does not have a time like the time of Hajj; it is not permissible [to exit the state of Ihram] until you circumambulate the House." So I stayed in al-Ruthaynah for five months or eight months.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن أيوب عن أبي العلاء بن الشخير قال خرجت معتمرا فلما كنت ببعض الطريق وقعت عن راحلتي فانكسرت رجلي فأرسلت إلى بن عباس وبن عمر من يسألهما فقالا إن العمرة ليس لها وقت كوقت الحج لا تحل حتى تطوف بالبيت فأقمت بالرثينة خمسة أشهر أو ثمانية اشهر
