Hadith 8:465
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad, he said: Mujahid and Sa’id ibn Jubayr sent to ‘Ata’ to ask him about food for the Muhrim (pilgrim in Ihram) containing saffron. He disliked it. They said to him: "Do you relate this from anyone?" He said: "No." So they ate it and did not pay attention to his statement.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن إدريس عن يزيد بن أبي زياد قال أرسل مجاهد وسعيد بن جبير إلى عطاء يسألانه عن الطعام للمحرم فيه الزعفران فكرهه فقالا يؤثره عن أحد فقال لا ف أكلا ولم ينظرا إلى قوله
