Hadith 8:473
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Jabir, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, from his father, that he used to eat yellow khushkanan (a type of pastry) while he was in the state of ihram. He said: And Abu Ja’far did not see any harm in food that contained saffron.
