Hadith 8:509
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from al-Rabi’ ibn Sa’id, he said: I asked Abu Ja’far about the circumambulation (tawaf) between al-Safa and al-Marwa. He said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) performed the circumambulation while riding, and I perform the circumambulation while riding; so I performed the circumambulation, I and he, while riding.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن نمير عن الربيع بن سعيد قال سألت أبا جعفر عن الطواف بين الصفا والمروة فقال طاف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راكبا وأنا أطوف راكبا فطفت أنا وهو راكبين
