Hadith 8:551
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Ata’ and from ‘Abd al-Karim, from Mu’adh ibn Sa’d, from Sinan ibn Salamah, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The voluntary sacrificial animal (hadi) is not to be eaten from. If one eats from it, he must pay compensation (ghurm)."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا وكيع عن بن أبي ليلى عن عطاء وعن عبد الكريم عن معاذ بن سعد عن سنان بن سلمة أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال الهدي التطوع لا يؤكل منه فإن أكل غرم
