Hadith 8:569
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from 'Aishah, that he [the Prophet] sent to her [an animal] to be marked (tush'ar), meaning the sacrificial camel (al-badana). She said: "If you wish, it is only marked to indicate that it is a sacrificial camel."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود عن عائشة أنه أرسل إليها تشعر يعني البدنة فقالت إن شئت إنما تشعر لتعليم أنها بدنة
